CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police arrested two 14-year-old boys Monday on the Near West side for separate violent crimes.
The boys were both picked up near Roosevelt and Hamilton. Chicago Police said one of them is charged with a murder and attempted carjacking back on July 14.
Relatives said Michal Ciskal died on his 25th birthday after he refused to give up the keys to his new BMW at a gas station off the Dan Ryan Expressway.
The other 14-year-old was charged with armed robbery and aggravated carjacking. Police said he is accused of holding up two men on Goose Island two weeks ago and carjacking a 69-year-old man about 20 minutes later and a half mile away.
Police have not shared any other details about the juveniles.
