Talk about a crappy flight.
A United Airlines plane bound for San Francisco from Germany had to turn around and head back after an unfortunate “malfunction” with one of its toilets.
The toilet started to leak its stinky waste back into the cabin.
According to flight tracker FlightRadar24, the Boeing 777 circled over the North Sea before making its return to Frankfurt.
“We arranged for another plane to take customers to San Francisco the next day and provided them with hotel accommodations overnight in Frankfurt,” a United spokesperson said.
However, while the passengers were stalled in transit until the following day, the plane’s toilet was actually fixed quickly, and the plane was back in the air later that day.
