Sherra Wright has plead guilty to "facilitating" the murder of her ex-husband, famous Memphis basketball player Lorenzen Wright. Wright will likely be sentenced to a 30-year sentence with eligibility for parole after serving 30% of her sentence (basically 10-years).
It's been 9 years since Wright disappeared, only to be recovered 10 days later in the woods in Memphis' outskirts.
The case went cold for seven years until Billy Turner was charged in 2017. Sherra Wright was arrested 10 days after Turner.
This is likely the most interesting development from the courtroom via 92.9's Gary Parrish:
Sherra Wright's attorneys are speaking on local TV. They contend she was involved in the plan to murder Lorenzen Wright but did not pull the trigger. They say their defense would've centered on the idea that she was a battered spouse who saw no other way to escape her ex-husband.

She could've said anything to the woman who had her son murdered. This is what she said: "Thank you for my grandchildren."
