Rick and John ask about the confidence level of Atlanta Falcons fans in Grady Jarrett after a report that he wants big money to return

Vaughn McClure, of ESPN, reported that he'd had conversations with executives while in Indianapolis last weekend:

The two sides are a ``long ways away'' from a long-term deal. And there was word at the combine among executives that Jarrett is looking for Aaron Donald money ($22.5 million per year). That Donald reference, however, didn't come from Jarrett's camp.

John told Rick if the Falcons and Grady Jarrett can’t come to terms by the end of the day, they will have to franchise tag him, then try to work out a long-term deal. Rick wants the Falcons to tag Grady Jarrett because it’s the friendliest deal for the Falcons in 2019, but John thinks it's not financially responsible for the Falcons because they will have $28 million tied up between Jarrett and Beasley.

Whereas, if you signed Jarrett to a long-term deal his cap number would be smaller than the one-year franchise hit.

Rick thinks Jarrett is delusional if he thinks he deserves the same money as Aaron Donald, because the truth is, Jarrett is not as good as Donald.
