Steelers’ Minkah Fitzpatrick is considered by pretty much every football expert to be one of the top five safeties in the NFL. Pro Football Focus, for example, has Fitzpatrick at 5th best.
Well almost everyone.
Surprisingly (or maybe not) Fitzpatrick is ranked 10th in Madden NFL 22 with an 89 overall rating in the game.
Tyrann Mathieu of the Kansas City Chiefs is ranked first with an OVR of 95.

Receiver Diontae Johnson took exception saying, “Stop trying my boy Minkah!! Best safety in the league smh.”
Several other people also found the low ranking to be a headscratcher.
Last season, Fitzpatrick had four interceptions for 77 yards and one touchdown, one fumble recovery and 79 total tackles.
