The Padres announced the unfortunate passing of former Padres pitcher and team ambassador Randy Jones on Wednesday morning. Jones was the organization's first Cy Young award winner and a beloved member of the community who also served as a team ambassador. Randy contributed to 97.3 The Fan's Padres' Pregame Show in previous years, lending his deep knowledge of starting pitching to our broadcasts. Our thoughts are with Randy's family at this time. His loss will be felt by all in San Diego.
