The South Carolina Attorney General's Office is coming off one of the highest profile cases in state history. They were able to get convictions on Alex Murdaugh for the murders of his wife and son. After a grueling trial that lasted 6 weeks, Murdaugh was convicted after a short period of deliberation for the jury.
