One person is dead after a shooting in Greenville County, Thursday morning. Around 2:15AM, deputies responded to a report of shots fired on Saluda Dam Road near the Parker Community of Greenville. Upon arrival, a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 23 year old, Joselito Billy Rivera. His death is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators say two persons of interest have been detained. No arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report.
