Multiple people are injured after a weekend shooting in Oconee County. 9-1-1 dispatchers got a call regarding a shooting at a home on Coffee Road near Walhalla, just before 7AM, Saturday.
Upon arrival, deputies found two men and a woman were found suffering from gunshot wounds. The three were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital to be treated. A fourth man was involved and left the scene, he met with authorities at a nearby elementary school.
Two victims were injured and underwent surgery and were said to be in stable condition, Sunday. A third victim has since been treated and released. A suspect 25 year old, Daniel Lee Gibbs was arrested in connection the incident.
Investigators say Gibbs went from his house in Mauldin to Walhalla to try and get his ex-girlfriend to come back with him. A confrontation with others at the Walhalla home led to Gibbs drawing a gun, then firing and hitting multiple people.
He's charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, aggravated domestic violence and multiple weapons violations.
