Three additional arrests have been announced in the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office’s second drug round-up of the year.
As of Monday, 10 arrests had so far been made out of the 26 total warrants issued in the drug round-up operation.
Wednesday, two additional arrests were announced against 29-year-old Christopher Alonzo Robinson of Seneca and 40-year-old William Woodrow Bearden, also of Seneca.
Robinson is charged with one count of distribution of cocaine, and Bearden is charged with one count of distribution of methamphetamine.
The Sheriff’s Office also received word that 46-year-old James Edward Benton of Fair Play was arrested in Anderson County. He will be included in the full arrest numbers pending extradition to Oconee County.
Benton’s arrest marks the 13th total arrest in the drug round-up, leaving another 13 warrants still active.
