A Western North Carolina Police Officer has been suspended after his arrest over the weekend.
Asheville Police Officer Beau Baley was taken into custody Saturday for driving while impaired, resisting an officer, child abuse and other charges.
Baley was off-duty when he was arrested by the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office. The Asheville Police Department says, Baley has been placed on administrative leave while the incident remains under investigation.
