There are many different factors one looks at when deciding where to live. While living in a big city has its benefits, there are many that prefer to settle in somewhere smaller. Luckily for those people, there are plenty of great small cities in DFW, as a recent study named three North Texas cities on their list of the 100 best small cities in America.
Wallethub recently unveiled their list of the 100 best cities in the United States, and like many best places to live lists, Texas was well represented. According to NBC DFW, the study compared more than 1,300 U.S. cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 based on 43 key indicators of livability. Based on the results, the study ranked Southlake at number 35, Allen at number 52 and Flower Mound at number 89.
For Southlake, the city finished in the top 3% of the cities assessed, scoring a total of 67.82 points. Meanwhile, Flower Mound ranked as the fourth most affordable city on the list. Based on this study, now people have even more reason to move to DFW.
