Back in the 90's, Chumbawamba let the world know; when they get knocked down, they always get up again. Now, 24 years after their hit song 'Tubthumping' taught the world to not give up, the band is back; this time in the form of a documentary. The band's former frontman Dunstan Bruce said the film took him years to make, and he promises once fans see it, he likely will "never get interviewed again."
Despite their only hit song coming in 1997, Chumbawamba actually didn't break up until 2012, though original frontman Dunstan Bruce left the group in 2004. Now, Bruce is back to tell the band's true story. The band's former frontman recently said he "just finished a documentary about Chumbawamba. It has taken five years to make and that film will answer a lot of questions."
One question fans hope the documentary answers is where the band has been the last 24 years. According to NME, the film will be released sometime this year. Maybe the film will help spark a Chumbawamba reunion, and possibly even a second hit.
