Any time a wild animal is spotted out in public, police are usually called to deal with the situation. Of course, sometimes corralling the animal takes a little bit more training than most officers have. That’s why sometimes the experts are called in, and that’s exactly what happened this week when an actual cowboy was used to help wrangle a cow that got loose on a highway.
On Monday, video went viral showing a cow loose on a busy highway in Oklahoma City. As seen in the clip, two vehicles fail to stop the cow from running freely on the road before a man on a horse comes and saves the day. The cowboy chases down the cow, eventually lassoing it and slowing it down.
According to Bro Bible, a second cowboy eventually joins, wrangling the cow’s back legs. Luckily, the two cowboys were able to safely corral the cow, keeping it out of harm’s way and returning it to its stockyard. Hopefully the cow stays on the farm from now on.
