These days, Matthew McConaughey is about as known for standing on the sidelines during Longhorns football games as much as his acting career, but the Academy Award winner has been honored by an Alamo Drafthouse location in his beloved Austin.
The Alamo Drafthouse Mueller location will henceforth be known as the “Matthew McConaughey Cinema.”
Per NBC DFW, the dedication ceremony will take place Monday, August 10th. It will be a private event with an early screening of McConaughey’s new film, The Rivals of Amziah King.
