Anna, Texas is quickly becoming one of the more popular destinations for people moving to the Lone Star state. With the city’s population expected to double by 2030, more and more communities are starting to be built in the area. Now, the latest property being built is including something that would make any Texan want to move to Anna, a Texas-shaped lazy river.
Last month, Colleyville-based Beall Development broke ground on their latest project, a 17-unit, four-story apartment complex in Anna. The community is called “The Quinn” and features a dog park, a putting green and most importantly, a lazy river in the shape of Texas. According to Axios, the apartment community is the first phase of a mixed used development coming to the area called Anna Village.
Once Anna Village is complete, it will also include restaurants, office space and retail. Of course, many are focused on the Texas shaped lazy river, as it will be one of the few Texas shaped pools throughout the state. With this community, Anna’s population may start growing even faster.
