Last summer, an art scavenger hunt took over DFW that had many searching for sculptures all over the metroplex using interactive clues. Now, ‘Art Quest’ has announced they are returning to North Texas, bringing their scavenger hunt to three different DFW neighborhoods. The event will take place next month in Pleasant Grove, Bachmann Lake and South Dallas.

Local art group, AURORA, is once again hosting their interactive scavenger hunt, ‘Art Quest,’ that seeks to connect diverse communities with regional artists. This year, the scavenger hunt will take place on June 3 in Pleasant Grove, June 10 in Bachmann Lake, and June 17 in South Dallas, according to Dallas Culture Map. The neighborhoods were selected through the Dallas Cultural Plan.

Those taking part in the scavenger hunt will receive clues on AURORA’s Instagram feed, and the first to find the sculpture will be able to collect it, along with a certificate of authenticity. The sculptures will be 3D printed from artists Eliza Au, Karla Garcia, and Hobbes Vincent. This event should make looking at art a lot more entertaining.
