If there is one thing the majority of the world can agree on it’s that pizza is delicious. Apparently that love reaches far past earth as well, as a group of astronauts brought their love of the Italian dish to the International Space Station. French astronaut Thomas Pesquet recently shared video of a group of astronauts having a pizza party, making plenty on earth jealous.
For astronauts onboard the International Space Station, it’s important to try and keep up with normal life, despite being hundreds of miles away from earth. One way a group of astronauts did that recently was by having a pizza party inside the ISS. “Floating pizza night with friends, it almost feels like a Saturday on Earth. They say a good chef never reveals their secrets, but I made a video so you can be the judge. Everything but pineapple, that would be a serious offence in Italy," Pesquet captioned the now viral video.
According to Food.NDTV.com, the video has received over 727k views and thousands of comments since being shared. While pizzas floating in space may make them more difficult to cook, the astronauts seemed to enjoy the task. Maybe one day they will be able to get pizza delivered to space instead.
