Spikes Under the Lights” is a college volleyball event that will pin four of the best college volleyball teams in the country against each other for a $1 million prize.

The event will be held at AT&T Stadium, the venue’s first-ever time hosting college volleyball.

Nebraska, Penn State, Florida, and SMU will be vying for the $1 million prize in a two-semifinal, one-championship format — all played in a best-of-three set structure.

The event will air on TNT Sports Thursday, August 27th.

Craig Barry, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer of TNT Sports, said in a statement per WFAA, “Women's volleyball is one of the fastest-growing sports in America, and Spikes Under the Lights is a premium event we're proud to showcase in primetime on TNT Sports.

"We look forward to showcasing some of the best teams in women's volleyball across our TNT Sports platforms."
