In DFW, people take their food very seriously; even when its fast food. While many already have their favorite spots, there are always new restaurants popping up and challenging eateries that have been in DFW for years. Now, popular fast food chain Bojangles has announced they will be giving the metroplex a try, opening multiple locations in the area.
The North Carolina based fried chicken restaurant is hoping DFW will enjoy their Cajun seasoned chicken as much as those on the east coast do. According to Fort Worth star-telegram, the new locations are expected to open by the first half of 2022. The plan is to open three franchise restaurants in Garland, Mesquite and Richardson, along with 15 corporate locations across DFW.
While there are currently no Bojangles locations in Texas, these will not be the first ever in the lone star state. The fast food chain attempted a move to Texas in the past, but pulled out years ago. Hopefully this move will be different, as many are excited for the chain to make its way to DFW.
