The dishes that you can always turn to when you’re feeling a little down that tide over the emotions because whatever you’re eating brings you peace, and makes everything feel all right for just a little while?
For the majority of Texans, three dishes reign supreme, as found in a survey commissioned by A Mission for Michael and conducted by Cherry Data Signals.
Texas’ top three most nostalgic summer comfort foods, according to the survey, are Brisket BBQ, Frito Pie, and Breakfast Tacos.
Not a bad choice in the bunch.
According to CW33, 3,011 respondents were asked with the goal of examining “regional summer foods that provide a sense of comfort, nostalgia and connection, while exploring how familiar recipes and shared seasonal meals affect overall mood and belonging.”
