When Dallas Summer Musicals decided to change their name to Broadway Dallas earlier this year, it came with the promise of big shows coming to town. While many are excited for shows that are part of their 2022-2023 calendar, the non-profit recently unveiled some news to get fans excited for next season’s slate of shows. Broadway Dallas announced ‘Hamilton’ will be returning to the metroplex, along with the North Texas debut of the Tina Turner Musical.
Next year should be exciting for theater fans throughout North Texas, as two of the biggest shows will be coming to Texas. Broadway Dallas and Broadway Across America recently announced ‘Hamilton’ and ‘Tina – The Tina Turner Musical’ as part of their 2023-2024 calendar. While tickets will be in high demand, fans can guarantee a spot by subscribing to the 2022-2023 Germania Insurance Broadway Series presented by Broadway Dallas, according to Broadway Dallas.
“We are very excited to give everyone a taste of what’s to come in the 2023-2024 season by announcing these two hit shows. There will be even more fantastic titles to announce when the time comes,” said Ken Novice, president of Broadway Dallas. With these shows, Broadway Dallas is showing their name isn’t the only thing that’s changing.
