For years, people have complained about the popular conversation hearts used to spread messages of love on Valentine’s Day. While they help say the things most people can’t, the taste hasn’t improved much over the years. Now, Uber Eats has teamed up with American Express and Fuku to enhance the flavor of these messages, instead spreading the word on the bun of a spicy chicken sandwich.
The “Rose Gold Meal” features a gold-dusted spicy chicken sandwich, with a message printed onto the bun. Each sandwich has either “I’m yours," "Be Mine" or "XOXO” safely stamped into the bun. According to Hypebeast, the sandwich is exclusively available on UberEats in participating areas.
With the chicken sandwich wars still going strong, it appears now it has taken over holidays as well. A fight with the chicken sandwich is one Valentine’s Day conversation heart candies wanted no part of. Maybe chicken sandwiches will become the standard Valentine’s Day treat in the future.
