KFC seems to change the person portraying their mascot, Colonel Sanders, quite often, but through all the changes to the character, the look has remained the same. Now, in support of “Movember,” the fast food chain has made a change to their mascot’s look. KFC France recently debut their mascot without his iconic mustache and goatee.

“Movember” is a month long tradition to raise awareness for men’s health, where men start the month clean shaven, and don’t shave their face again until the end of the month. Many take donations throughout their journey in support of prostate and testicular cancer research. Now, KFC France has joined in on the tradition in hopes that fans join them in donating and growing their facial hair.

The facial hair-less Colonel Sanders will be featured on bags, packaging and chicken buckets. It is unknown if other KFC locations plan to participate in the new Sanders look. Hopefully by the end of the month, the classic look has been fully grown in and restored.
