The housing market is going through unprecedented times, especially here in DFW. With more and more people moving to the metroplex, it seems every neighborhood has seen a pricing boom in recent years. Now, Zillow has revealed which suburbs in U.S. have most popular housing markets, and for Texas the top choice was Coppell.
Zillow has become one of the top services for potential homebuyers to get information on a new home, and now they have shared new information on the areas with the most popular housing markets. For DFW, the most popular area was Coppell, which saw 7% home value growth since 2021. According to CW33, The average home value in Coppell is $565,930.
“How many employers continue to allow this flexibility for employees to live where they choose will go a long way toward determining which markets are most in demand in the future,” said Zillow economist Nicole Bachaud.
As for other Texas metros, the top suburbs were Cedar Park in Austin, Canyon Lake in San Antonio and Port Bolivar in Houston. In DFW, soon everyone will be talking up Coppell as the place to be.
