Last week, Dallas Animal Services was called to a neighborhood after residents reported a raccoon walking around.
Not too unusual, right? Unfortunately for this raccoon, she stuck out in a big way as she was walking around with a mayonnaise jar stuck around her head.
According to WFAA, residents had named the raccoon “Mayonesa,” and after several failed attempts to capture her, DAS officers were finally able to corner her, sedate her, and remove the mayo jar.
Das says that Mayonesa was dehydrated after having gone several days without food or water, but was otherwise in good condition.
Mayonesa was transferred to Texas Metro Wildlife, where she will receive care for several days before being released back into the wild.
