The space formerly occupied by Cow Tipping Creamery inside The Star in Frisco will not remain vacant for long.

Moving in will be The Imperial Room, a cocktail lounge that comes from the purveyor of the beloved Dallas pizza institution Cane Rosso.

Cane Rosso, along with Zoli’s Pizza, Thunderbird Pies, and even Cow Tipping Creamery, all operate under the PILF Restaurant Group. Owner Jay Jerrier said in a press release per CultureMap Dallas, “We've loved being part of The Star for the last ten years, and Cow Tipping Creamery created a lot of great memories for our guests.

"But ice cream is an incredibly seasonal business, and we've wanted to create a cocktail lounge for a long time. The Imperial Room gives us the opportunity to build something completely different — something that complements Cane Rosso, while also allowing our team to stretch creatively beyond pizza.”

The lounge will comprise of a 600-square-foot space with seating enough for 25 to 30 people, and the decor will consist of olive and navy tones, cozy booths, warm lighting, with a "classic cocktail lounge atmosphere."

The drink menu will be created by Dallas bartender Gabe Sanchez of the Black Swan Saloon and the Midnight Rambler, and the food comes from PILF executive chef Mat Urban.

The lounge is currently undergoing construction with an expected opening date of September 2026.
