A resident of Lake Jackson recently won such an amount playing the Lottery and he says he wants to be “as responsible as possible.”
His actions have proven that true, too. According to MySA.com, the winner has secured a financial advisor, lawyer and CPA to determine how best to manage the prize.
He says that “paying off their debts and establishing long-term security for their family” are the main goals, but he won’t pass up the chance on two “splurge” purchases. The man said, “I want to be as responsible as possible, but first, I’m going to get a steak and pair of boots.”
The man won the life-changing amount of money on a Quick Pick ticket for the game Lotto Texas. He purchased the winning ticket at a Murphy USA gas station in Angleton.
