Restaurants are always looking for new ways to improve the dining experience. Often this is done with food, but sometimes restaurants will think outside the box in order to give customers something new. That’s what will be happening at Pyramid at the Fairmont Dallas this weekend when diners will be treated to an entire meal in the dark.
“Dark Dining” has become a popular trend in the restaurant industry, where customers eat meals while blindfolded in order to increase their sense of taste. For adventurous eaters in DFW, Pyramid’s “Dark Dining” experience includes a three-course meal for $90, with customers having a choice of vegan, seafood, or meat.
According to CW33, wine and cocktails for the meal can also be purchased on the day of the event. The limited event will only be available on June 10 and June 24. For anyone bored of the normal dining experience, they may want to give this a try.
