Those that use DART to travel around DFW may want to adjust their schedules a bit over the next few weeks. The transit service announced on Thursday plans to delay service times for nearly one third of their bus routes.
These changes are to help DART deal with current driver shortages.
Over the last year DART has seen a number of changes, mainly due to new bus routes throughout the city, but the latest change may not make things more convenient for riders. The transit service will implement long-term changes to the frequency of its bus services starting June 13. 31 of their 97 bus routes will be affected by the changes, according to WFAA.

The changes include taking some bus routes that operate every 15 minutes, and delaying it to 20 minutes. Other routes will see service times changed from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes. For now, these changes will remain until January 2023. Hopefully more drivers are hired soon and these changes don’t get extended.
