Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer for many, which is why the weekend is usually filled with plenty of good times. Of course, good times sometimes turn into bad decisions, which is why one DFW law firm is looking to lend a helping hand this weekend. Hatley Law Firm is offering free sober rides for Labor Day weekend, covering the cost of an Uber, Lyft or cab ride for the metroplex.
North Texas law firm Hartley Law recently announced a new Sober Rides Campaign, covering the cost of a sober ride home after a night of drinking so no one drives while drunk. Anyone in DFW can take part as long as their ride taken between 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2 and 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept.
5, 2022. According to CW33, riders must be of legal drinking age to take part, and the one way ride has a maximum value of $30.00.
In order to get the money, riders must submit a copy of their receipt and a photo ID by mail to Hatley Law’s office within 10 days. The law firm will then send back the money to the return address. This deal may be too good to pass up this holiday weekend.
