April showers not only bring May flowers, but also every Texan's worst enemy: mosquitoes.
It's that time of year when mosquitos rear their ugly faces, and as expected, DFW is one of the worst areas in the nation for them.
In fact, new data from Terminix found that DFW is the second-worst area in the nation when it comes to mosquitoes!
According to WFAA, Terminix determined their rankings by "examining service data from Terminix branches across the country and determining which areas had the highest number of mosquito control services throughout the year."
Last year, DFW was third on their list (so the mosquito problem is only getting worse here) behind Los Angeles and New York.
Honestly, we didn't need a list to tell us how bad mosquitoes are here. We just have to walk outside for five minutes and count the bites!
