Over the years, DFW has become quite the foodie town, with incredible options for all sorts of cuisine. While Tex-Mex and BBQ still reign supreme, some other types of food have started to show why they deserve to be called the best in North Texas. Now, a new report has named a metroplex restaurant as the best option for fried chicken in all of Texas.
Eat This, Not That! recently unveiled their list of the best fried chicken restaurant in every state. DFW has plenty of good options to choose from, but with many popular fried chicken restaurants in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and rest the of the Lone Star state, North Texas had plenty of competition. Still, the report named Mike’s Chicken in Dallas as Texas’ best, according to CW33.
“Great chicken, awesome cheesy corn…This place is the real deal, styrofoam containers and all. Eat here,” said one review. Mike’s Chicken is located 4234 Maple Ave in Dallas. For anyone that is in the mood for fried chicken, they now know where to go.
