For many students, furthering their education in college is an important step towards landing their dream career. Of course, paying for school ends up being an issue for countless young adults, as many spend years paying off their post high school education. Luckily for one DFW student, her college debt has now been cleared thanks to musician and producer Pharrell Williams.

During Pharrell Williams’ three-day “Something in the Water” festival over the weekend, the musician decided to help out five college students by clearing their college debt. The musician made the announcement during a panel discussion about the personal impact of college-loan debt. All five students were participating in the discussion, including Channing Hill of Bedford.
