Dr Pepper is so beloved in Texas, most in the state are willing to try just about anything that tastes like the soda. Luckily, the latest brand to come out with a Dr Pepper flavored item is one that plenty don’t mind eating at all. It was recently announced that Keurig Dr Pepper has partnered with Peeps to release Dr Pepper Peeps marshmallows and they’ll be hitting shelves in Texas next month.
With Easter right around the corner, soon Peeps will make their annual return. However, this year a new flavor has all the attention, especially in Texas. The new Dr Pepper flavored Peeps will be sold exclusively at Walmart, and will hit shelves after Valentine’s Day, according to Dallas Morning News. Each Dr Pepper peep is gluten free, fat free and less than 30 calories, while only costing $1.36 for a 10-count.
Along with the new Dr Pepper flavor, Peeps will also release a kettle corn flavor this year. Some of the other flavors they’ve attempted over the years include Hot Tamales, sour watermelon, cotton candy and more. With the new Dr Pepper flavor, soon many may have a new favorite Peep.
