Eminem has achieved just about everything he possibly could in the music industry throughout his career. Now, the rapper is attempting to take over another industry, making a second attempt at a career as an actor. It was announced recently that Eminem would have a role in the upcoming 50 Cent Starz series, ‘BMF,’ and many fans are excited to see what he brings to the show.

After starring in the 2002 film, ‘8 Mile,’ Eminem has had a number of cameo roles in films and television, but for the most part has stayed away from acting, until now. The rapper will reportedly play FBI informant Richard Wershe Jr., aka White Boy Rick, in the upcoming Starz series, ‘BMF.’ The series, which is produced by 50 Cent, will follow the drug and money laundering organization Black Mafia Family.

According to NME, Eminem will appear in one episode as the former FBI informant. “I’m honored and appreciative of my good friend Em for supporting my new show ‘BMF.’ We couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend that is Eminem,” said 50 Cent. While the appearance will be brief, many fans are hoping this leads to more roles in the future.
