Norway’s Erling Haaland has become the darling of the World Cup tournament. He especially endeared himself to the hearts of Texans after his trip to Wild Bill Western Store's went viral.
Reportedly, Haaland spent $10,000 on the shopping spree for the entire Norwegian soccer team, which included multiple cowboy hats, boots, belt buckles, and shirts.
There was one gift Haaland purchased for himself though, a taxidermied raccoon holding a whiskey bottle.
Haaland proudly carried the critter down off the plane after the team landed back in Norway following their elimination from the World Cup, alongside his Dolce & Gabbana tote bag.
The stuffed raccoon is now sold out on Wild Bill’s website.
Cody Newport, owner of Wild Bill's Western Store, told FOX 4 that Haaland knew nothing of cowboy hats before visiting, and had to be fitted for one.
"We exude the Dallas welcome, the southern hospitality. For him to want to come in and hang out is everything," he said.
