We’re about halfway through summer, which means if you want to get your body in beach shape, you’re running out of time.
Still, there’s no bad time to start getting fit. Especially now with the rise of GLP-ones, people are dedicated to shedding the pounds more than ever it seems.
Especially here in the Lone Star State.
New research from the GLP-one provider Peak Wellness has identified Florida, Nevada, and Texas as the leading states for weight-loss drug searches in the United States this summer.
According to CW33, Peak Wellness examined each state’s average number of searches for Ozempic-related terms between May and September to determine where residents most frequently seek information about weight-loss drugs.
The study found that Texas had 1,944 searches for weight-loss drugs per 100,000 people, bested only by Florida (1,964), and Nevada (1,957).
The top ten states that searched the most for weight-loss drugs included:
1 – Florida
2 – Nevada
3 – Texas
4 – Washington
5 – Virginia
6 – Massachusetts
7 – Georgia
8 – New York
9 – North Carolina
10 – California
On the other side, Alaska had the fewest searches for weight-loss drugs.
