Ice cream really is the delicacy of choice right now as the temps consistently hit triple digits.
And as Texas is the home of Blue Bell, the options of choice of flavor are limitless. Still, a new study from Instacartfound that the most popular flavor of ice cream in Texas is vanilla.
Hey, one of the great things about vanilla ice cream is its versatility. You can add different flavors and toppings to it that take a good bowl of ice cream to an incredible one.
Vanilla proved to be the most popular flavor nationwide, as well.
According to CW33, Vanilla accounted for 21% of all ice cream orders nationwide, followed by Chocolate (7.9%) and Cookie Dough (6.9%) to round out the national top three.
And, no surprise here, Texas opts for Blue Bell more than the national average, though healthier options like Alec’s Ice Cream, Rebel, Straus Family Creamery, Van Leeuwen, and Graeter’s Ice Cream are gaining ground.
