Parents are always looking for ways to make taking care of their kids a little easier. Thanks to advancements in technology, parents have more options for child care than ever before. Now, things are about to get even easier as a group of Fort Worth families helped develop a new app to give parents access to information and resources for child care.

Parent Pass is a new app designed to give users free parenting resources, including a local child care finder, learning resources for kids ages 0 to 18, family events, neighbor giveaways and more. According to CBS DFW, the app was created in collaboration with 100 Fort Worth families from nine different neighborhoods, who spent over 1,200 hours developing and designing the app. The group comes from The Best Place for Kids!, a public-private partnership focused on learning and life success for children in Fort Worth.

“The Parent Pass app is a shining example of what our city can do when we all work together to build a more connected community and a brighter future for every child and family,” said Mayor Mattie Parker. While no one said parenting is easy, this app should make things a little easier.
