DFW has been doing pretty well in recent years. With a number of businesses moving to North Texas, and the metroplex continuing to grow, the area has changed quite a bit before our eyes. Now, a new report has named the 10 wealthiest counties in Texas, and DFW had four counties make the cut.

On the heels of a new report naming Rockwall County as the richest county in Texas based on median household income, a new study has found quite a bit of success for some other North Texas counties as well. The new report from personal finance website SmartAsset looked at each county’s per capita income, median home value and per capita investment income to come up with their rankings. Based on the data, they found that Collin, Rockwall, Denton and Dallas County were all among the 10 richest in Texas.
