For many restaurants, it takes years to build a loyal following of customers along with a reputation for being an excellent dining experience.
It only took Grandma’s Country Kitchen four months.
The southern Dallas restaurant opened its doors on March 23, and in those four months built a loyal fanbase of customers and has garnered an excellent reputation, so much so it were recently named Dallas’ Favorite New Restaurant at the 3rd Annual Southern Taste of Dallas Awards.
Co-owner Harold Cox told WFAA, “Winning Dallas Favorite New Restaurant means the world to us because it reflects the love and support of our community.
"Opening this restaurant was a long road filled with hard work, perseverance, and unwavering faith. To receive this honor just four months after opening is truly humbling. We couldn't have done it without every customer who walked through our doors, voted for us, and continues to support our dream.”
Grandma’s Country Kitchen was designed to make it feel like you were having Sunday dinner at your grandmother’s house, and even includes a "Grandma's Wall of Fame," which honors all the women who have inspired family traditions.
Guests are also invited to celebrate the grandmothers who have shaped their own families by sharing their own stories and legacies.
