The owner of a cutlery store located inside Willow Bend Mall says thieves recently made off with over $50,000 in goods following a burglary Monday morning.
Several valuable knives and swords were stolen from Cutlery Collection after suspects cut through ana extra security chain on the store’s front door.
Store owner Karl Monk told FOX 4 that the burglars stole swords, a variety of hunting knives, collectible knives, antique knives, and the helmet of Rusty, a set of armor located at the front of the store.
The workshop and backroom of the store were also ransacked.

The Plano Police Department says that a second business inside Willow Bend, Pipe & Palette, was also recently hit by burglars, who stole over $8,000 from the store.
The police have yet to identify any suspects.
