Music videos have been around for a long time, but didn’t become a must for artists putting out new music until MTV came around in the 1980s. Sadly that means plenty of classic songs have gone years without a music video for fans to enjoy. Now, one of these beloved songs is making up for lost time, as a music video for George Harrison’s ‘My Sweet Lord’ is set to debut this week.

It was announced recently that a new music video, starring 40 musicians, actors, and comedians, for George Harrison’s iconic song from ‘All Things Must Pass’ was being made. This week, a teaser trailer for the video was shared on the official George Harrison twitter page. The teaser stars actors Mark Hamill and Fred Armisen, and has plenty of fans excited to see what’s to come.

In the video, Hamill coaches Armisen on using a complicated scanner, leaving many wondering the plot of this new video. According to Yahoo, the video will premiere on December 15. Hopefully after this, more classic songs are finally given music videos.
