The central Texas city of Georgetown is facing a dire problem:  It's running out of water.  Rapidly.

In fact, a new report says that Georgetown is the fastest-growing city in the country, and if this trend continues will run out of water in just six years' time.

According to MySA.com, the city sources 70% of its water supply from the Brazos River Authority and a limited quantity of groundwater from the Edwards Aquifer.  The report predicts that after 2030, the city will start to see gaps in supplying water to all of its residents.

The city will need multiple new sources of water to meet future demands and has created six plans of different source combinations that will all cost the city more than $1.5 billion.
