It's not just other motorists Texans need to be cautious of when driving out on the road.
Yesterday, the Grapevine Police Department posted about wildlife safety after one of its officers helped a turtle safely make its way across the street at Meadowmere Park.
The department posted online, "Sometimes slowing down really can save lives. Remember to watch for wildlife on the roads, especially in the warmer months."
