As people get older, memories of their youth become more and more precious. Many have attempted to relive their glory days, but for some reason it’s never as satisfying as an adult. Luckily, back in 2008 a movie came out that taught the world it was possible to keep the party going, well after they have passed their prime.
‘Old School’ starring Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn told the story of three middle aged men who move onto a college campus and start a fraternity house, despite not actually being in college. Like any college based movie, there is plenty of partying throughout, but in this case; their goal was to show the adults can keep up with the young guys. Possibly the film’s greatest achievement was introducing a new generation to a party tradition; streaking.
Of all the party movies throughout history, ‘Old School’ has taken a spot near the top of the list. It is still quoted by many today, and has inspired countless parties on college campuses and houses throughout the country. Here’s to one of the great moments in party history!
