With school starting for many students over the next 2 weeks, many in DFW are scrambling to do all their back-to-school shopping. However, with supplies expected to be even more expensive this year, some parents are struggling to get everything their child needs. Luckily, there are multiple back-to-school events over the next two weeks where students can get free supplies for this year.
Starting this week, DFW parents will be able to get free school supplies at a number of events. First up is the Dallas Mayor’s Back to School Fair on August 5th. This is the Fair Park event’s 26th year of operation, according to CW33. Next are the House of Renewed Hope Backpack Giveaway and the “Spread Your Wings Back 2 School Giveaway” Hooters at Cedar Hill, both on August 6th.
Fort Worth will have a back-to-school event on August 7th at the Back 2 School Bash at The Chosen Vessel. Finally, there is the For Oak Cliff’s Infinity Back 2 School Festival at Glendale Park event on August 13th. With these events, DFW parents should be able to get everything they need for their children this year.
