Two experienced duck hunters from Louisiana were left stranded clinging to trees above a frigid Texas lake after their boat sunk in the middle of their hunt.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the men were out hunting for several days when their mud boat struck a tree in Bois D'arc Lake and sank. The men were able to cling onto trees above the frigid water and held on for 13 hours before being rescued.
The hunters were able to build a fire in their Yeti cooler, burning their duck decoys and wood from the trees around them to keep warm.
The hunters were discovered after each of their wives grew suspicious after having not heard from the men that day.
