If you were looking for the biggest hamburger in North Texas, you probably wouldn’t think to inspect a taqueria in Hurst, but that’s exactly where you’ll find “La Reyna,” a burger that measures 16 inches and weighs over six pounds.
As far as Mario Reyna Moreno, owner of El Reyno Taquería knows, it’s the biggest burger in DFW, but it’s not just the size that brings people from far and wide to attempt to eat it.
He told NBC DFW, “We have the best flavor and style from Monterrey. There are people that come here and tell us that they enjoy our flavor. That is what makes us unique.”
El Reyno Taquería challenges all who dare to eat the entire La Reyna is less than 30 minutes; the current record is 21 minutes, 25 minutes.
El Reyno Taqueria has two locations in North Texas: on 705 Melbourne Road in Hurst, TX and a second spot, which was just recently opened, on 2903 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX.
